Born in 1981 in Bucharest, Romania.
Studied piano at the George Enescu Highschool. She won the national piano competition.
She is now a student in the 4th year at the National University of Music in Bucharest . She is studying composition with Prof. Stefan Niculescu.
She was awarded many prizes for composition: Grand Prize and Jury’s Special Prize of “Gearge Enescu” in 1998. The 3rd Prize and 1st Prize of “Paul Constantinescu” in 2001 and in 2003.The 1st Prize of “Alex Zirra”in 2001,2002 and 2003. The 1st Prize of “Gearge Enescu”in 2003.
In 2002, she was selected to participate in the compositin course in Royaumont, France where she studied with Jonathan Harvey, Brian Ferneyhough and Th. Loevendie. In 2003, participated in the International Bartok Seminar in Hungary where she attended to composition classes of Jonathan Harvey, Michael Jarell and Marco Stroppa.
Her works have been performed in concerts in Bucharest and Lasi , and also in France, Greece, Switzerland, Hungary and Japan.

We would like to inform you the result of the 25th Irino Prize ,2004.
The Selection Committee has been held on July19, 2004 at the JML
Seminar Yoshiro Irino Institute of Music Tokyo.

Joji YUASA, Yori-Aki MATSUDAIRA (Chairman), Masanori FUJITA , Mamoru FUJIEDA, Takayuki RAI ,
Mari TAKANO, Masahiro MIWA, (Satoshi TANAKA is absent)

Total of Entries:118 Compositions, 32 Countries
Award: Total 650,000 Japanese yen ( 500,000 JY and 150,000 JY as a subsidy for the ports)The first world performance by New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra on the subscription concert
